Douglas County Marching Invitational Info

We need to feed the band twice during this event.  Lunch will be provided by the Donhowes!  But we need your help for the dinner meal. We need everybody’s help to pull this off so please find something that you can contribute! Please read the sign-up carefully. Some items need to be delivered cold to Nicole GGuider’s house (address in the sign-up) Friday afternoon and some items should come hot to the stadium on Saturday between 4-4:30. Contact info for our Food Committee chairs is included in the sign-up if you have questions.

Saturday, October 8 –DougCo Competition

Itinerary:

9:00 am—Arrive @ CSH in uniform–bring clothes (including your Band shirt you received from Mr. Emery) to change into before lunch

9:15 am—Depart

10:00 am—Arrive Douglas County High School

11:15 am—Warm Up

12:15 pm—Move to on-deck

12:30 pm—Perform!

12:45 pm–Change clothes and neatly put uniform in bag to be ready for finals.   

1:00 pm—Lunch provided

2:00pm-4:00 pm—Watch bands

4:00 pm—Drum Major Retreat

5:45 pm-9:00 pm—Finals & Dinner* (depending on performance time)

9:15 pm—Retreat

9:45 pm—Depart

10:15 pm—Arrive @ CSH, dismiss

*Once we know what time we play during finals,  we will determine the time the students will eat dinner.  

PARENT CREW:   Your call time is 11:00 a.m. for Front Line Crew and 11:30 for Props Crew.  FRONT LINE–the students move to warm up at 11:15 a.m. so you need to be there at 11:00 to get your assignments and be ready to move with them.  Please plan to arrive in plenty of time to park, etc.   Please note that we will learn what time our finals slot is around 4:00 p.m. You will receive a more detailed email Monday or Tuesday.
